This piece was originally created as a part of an inktober challenge that I completed last October. The prompt was "Bat".
Line and shape were the main focus in this piece. If you look closely, you can spot the repetition of the triangular spaces that make up the majority of the page. Along with that, the repeated straight lines contrast with the minimal rounded lines. The moon especially stands out in comparison to the sharpness of this piece, with the only compliment to it being the branch's texture and the bat's moon-like eyes.
